Xylem names new Senior Vice President
The global water technology company, Xylem, has announced that today Steven Leung will join the company as Senior Vice President and President, Emerging Markets. His position will become effective April 1, 2015.

The StrengThin™ Piping System with the Series 466 plug valve and Style D08 coupling offered by Victaulic has recently been updated and improved.
Designed for on/off and control services, the 466 features an increased flow area and smaller end-to-end dimensions than the 465.
Siemens SIPART PS2 Valve Positioner
This year Siemens has introduced new functionalities to its SIPART PS2 Valve Positioner. It now has several new qualities including a Fail-in-Place (FIP) feature that causes the valve to remain in the last position when it loses power and not revert back to zero, which is what usually happens with standard valve positioners.
Valves instrumental in successfully launching satellite
Moog Inc. Space and Defense Group supplied materials, including valves, to the Boeing-built GPS IIF-9 satellite which was atop a United Launch Alliance (ULA) Delta IV Medium + 4,2 rocket.
GPS IIF-9 is the ninth of twelve planned Global Positioning System (GPS) Block IIF satellites to support the space-based, worldwide navigation system.
