NuScale makes reactor mock-up incl. valves

The Portland, Oregon-based NuScale Power has announced that it has finished the fabrication and assembly of a full-scale, upper module mock-up of a small modular reactor. It is called the NuScale Power Module™ or NPM.

Metso’s new valve service centre in Mexico

Metso, the industrial mining/aggregates and flow control, is planning to open a new valve and field device service centre in Querétaro, Mexico. This new service centre will carry out maintenance and repair work on Metso and third-party devices, such as valves, actuators and pumps for customers mainly in the oil and gas, pulp and paper and mining industries.

CPC expands specific couplings range
