Acme Cryogenics adds to plant

Acme Cryogenics Inc., suppliers of valves and fittings to the cryogenic gas industry, has completed a 7,500-square-foot addition to its plant in Allentown, Pennsylvania. David Edge, the manufacturer's director of technical sales and marketing, said recently that the addition was necessary because the company lost its lease in the former Lehigh Structural Steel complex along Allentown's Waterfront.

Baker Hughes V1-validated deepwater safety valve

Baker Hughes has announced the release of its DeepShield deepwater safety valve, the industry’s first V1-validated subsurface safety valve tested to help ensure fail-safe operations as defined in the new API Spec 14A.

Two-way hygienic stainless steel diverter valve

Red Valve receives Redflex NSF 61 certification

Red Valve, manufacturers of pinch valves, check valves, knife gate valves, pressure sensors, air diffusers and rubber products, has acquired NSF 61 certification for its Redflex® expansion joints. These expansion joints are designed to relieve piping stress, compensate for movement, reduce noise and isolate vibration.

Pentair concludes acquisition of ERICO for $1.8B

Pentair, a global provider of water flow and energy solutions, including valve manufacturing, with branches in North and South America, has completed the previously announced acquisition of electrical and fastening products maker ERICO Global Company for $1.

Kelso PRV inspection and re-certification services

Kelso Technologies Inc. (Kelso), a railway equipment supplier and manufacturer of pressure relief valves (PRVs), has established an in-house inspection and re-certification service.
