Acme Cryogenics adds to plant

Acme Cryogenics Inc., suppliers of valves and fittings to the cryogenic gas industry, has completed a 7,500-square-foot addition to its plant in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

David Edge, the manufacturer’s director of technical sales and marketing, said recently that the addition was necessary because the company lost its lease in the former Lehigh Structural Steel complex along Allentown’s Waterfront. The addition holds Acme Cryogenics’ helium container and hydrogen tank repair business.

Acme Cryogenics sells to food packaging, pharmaceutical, semi-conductor and industrial gas companies, including Trexlertown’s Air Products.
