ID cleanup project contract renewed
A company formed by CH2M Hill and URS Corp. will continue to clean up waste at the Idaho National Laboratory for another three years under a USD 730 million-contract extension announced earlier this week.
CH2M-WG Idaho will continue its work managing spent fuel and cleaning up solid and liquid waste at the Department of Energy site near Idaho Falls that has hosted nuclear power research projects since 1949.
FirstEnergy considers converting coal-fired plant
