Assured Automation’s fire-safe fusible link valves

The FM Fire-Safe Shutoff fusible link valve assemblies from Assured Automation are API 607 and Factory Mutual approved for flammable liquids, and are commonly used to activate sprinkler systems to control fire, and to shut down hazardous lines when fire occurs.These valve and fusible link assemblies include manually operated ball or butterfly valves.

Coperion launches Hygienic PLUS-rated valves

Coperion, Stuttgart, Germany, introduced a blow-through valve type ZXD in Hygienic PLUS execution to be certified in compliance with the criteria of the European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group (EHEDG), type ED at Interpack 2014.

PTE launches 64mm blow-off valve

Precision Turbo and Engine (PTE) released its new PB64 blow‐off valve (BOV). Made from lightweight 6071 and 7075 billet aluminium, the 64mm unit is satin black anodised to be aesthetically pleasing yet functional while offering long‐lasting protection from the elements.

BP sells four of its Alaska assets

BP is selling four of its oilfields, located on the North Slope of Alaska, to the exploration company Hilcorp. The sale agreement includes all of BP’s interests in the Endicott and Northstar oilfields and a 50 percent interest in each of the Liberty and the Milne Point fields.
