New declutchable gear override from UniTorq

UniTorq Actuators & Controls introduced the new UT-ZM declutchable gear override. Available in torque outputs ranging from 1,770 to 61,995 in lbs, the UT-ZM provides a safe, cost-effective solution for manual control of the valve whenever air supply or power to a pneumatic actuator is lost.

ASCO extends composite solenoid valve

Powell to supply valves with Chesterton technology

The Wm. Powell Company and A.W. Chesterton Company, announced an agreement in which Chesterton will become the exclusive supplier of the low-emissions packing technology in Powell Valves.The agreement allows Powell to produce valves with low-emissions packing technology that are compliant with the new API 624 standard for industrial fugitive emissions and meet the latest Environmental Protection Agency regulations.

New ultrasonic flow meters for Biogas from KROHNE

KROHNE introduces OPTISONIC 7300 Biogas ultrasonic flow meter as dedicated flow meter for biogas applications. The device is a specialised version of the OPTISONIC 7300 ultrasonic gas flow meter for process gas applications.Biogas presents a number of challenges to flow measurement, such as low pressure and low flow rates, changes in gas composition and high water content.

Subsea 7 secures Shell contract in offshore Brazil

Subsea 7 announced the award of a lump sum contract valued at approximately USD 110M by Shell for the installation of jumpers, umbilicals and associated subsea structures for the BC-10 Phase 3 Project in the Campos Basin offshore Brazil.Project management and engineering will be performed from Subsea 7’s offices in Rio de Janeiro and will commence in Q1 2014.
