Automating Existing Main Line Valves

W.E. Anderson, a division of Dwyer Instruments, is introducing the WE02 automated 3-piece NPT stainless steel ball valve. The ball valve, which is apart of the new WE02 series, has a full port 3-piece stainless steel ball valve that maintains great flow rates with minimal pressure drop.

Voith, the company that sets standards in the oil & gas and energy markets, participated in Kaukauna Utilities Badger Hydro plant’s official dedication that took place last week in Kaukauna, Wisconsin.

Cimarex to acquire Cana-Woodford assets

Cimarex Energy signed a purchase and sale agreement to acquire oil and gas assets in the Cana-Woodford shale play in Western Oklahoma for USD 497.4M in cash. Cimarex also entered into an agreement with Devon Energy to sell at closing a 50% interest in these assets for USD248.

Blaise Energy powers CNG plant with wellhead gas

Blaise Energy announced they are using flare gas to supply the electrical power for a major oil operator producing CNG fuel. Blaise successfully paralleled five natural-gas–powered generators providing 1MW of power for the oil operator’s CNG compressor.

XNG wins first CNG customer in New York

Xpress Natural Gas (XNG) has expanded its operations into New York. XNG will supply Schweitzer-Mauduit International’s (SWM) Ancram, New York, facility with Compressed Natural Gas (CNG).

ARP to acquire low decline oil properties

Atlas Resource Partners (ARP) entered into a definitive agreement to acquire total reserves of approximately 47 million barrels of oil equivalent (MMboe) of oil and natural gas liquids (NGLs), including proved developed producing reserves of approximately 25Mmboe, for USD 420M.

Kirk Key has expanded its Eagle Valve Interlock Series, adding bolt-interlocking designs to the range of integral valve interlocks.

ProSep wins Shell Canada’s Carmon Creek contract

ProSep, the Houston-headquartered oil, gas and water process-separation specialist has been awarded the contract with Shell Canada for a comprehensive oil treatment solution consisting of the design and packaging of 12 large oil treatment vessels.The equipment, which will be designed and partly fabricated by ProSep includes degassers, production separators, production treaters and slop oil treaters and will be delivered to the Carmon Creek heavy oil development in Northern Alberta, Canada.
