Valve World Americas: Second afternoon workshops

The second morning of Valve World Americas Conference & Exhibition on July 16th will host a series of three hot-topic workshops that will be held concurrently from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. The hardest part of attending the conference will be choosing which workshop to go to on the second day! Each informative workshop will focus on a different topic relevant to the valve industry and will have a moderator as well as a panel made up of the who’s who of manufacturers, end-users and EPCs.

J.R. Merit wins butterfly valve contract

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has awarded a contract worth $3.6 million to J.R. Merit Inc. for the supply of replacement penstock butterfly valves to be used at the 49-MW Lost Creek hydropower project on Oregon’s Rouge River.
