New steam turbine for geothermal plants
During the GEA Geothermal Energy Expo in San Diego, U.S.A., Siemens Energy unveiled a new steam turbine, SST-400 GEO, for geothermal power plants. The 60MW turbine combines the Siemens SST-400 steam turbine package with the steam path technologies developed, tested and applied by the steam turbine service provider TurboCare.
