Wolseley golf tournament raises $51,000 for Special Oly

On June 3, 2015, Wolseley Canada held its 10th annual Wolseley Classic golf tournament in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and raised $51,000 CAD in support of Special Olympics (SO). Proceeds from the tournament, which was held at Bel Acres Golf and Country Club, will be donated to SO Manitoba and SO Canada.

Pembina announces Horizon pipeline expansion

Pembina Pipeline Corporation announced that it will expand its existing Horizon Pipeline System for an estimated capital cost of approximately USD 125M. Horizon, a 513km pipeline, was originally commissioned in 2008 and built to connect Canadian Natural Resources' Horizon Oil Sands facility to refineries, export pipelines and other delivery locations in the Edmonton area.

Pentair Valves & Controls recently showcased its expanded portfolio of specialised products for the LNG industry at the World Gas Conference (WGC) 2015 in Paris, France earlier this month. Enhancing its current range of products for use across the entire LNG chain, Pentair introduced the Vanessa Series 30,000 Buttweld Top Entry Body Triple Offset Valve (TOV), an FCT cryogenic ball valve and a new Anderson Greenwood 9300H pilot operated pressure relief valve at WGC.

Valve World Americas: Second afternoon workshops

The second morning of Valve World Americas Conference & Exhibition on July 16th will host a series of three hot-topic workshops that will be held concurrently from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. The hardest part of attending the conference will be choosing which workshop to go to on the second day!
