ValvTechnologies gets new industry director

ValvTechnologies has named Ricky Ford as the Upstream Oil and Gas Industry Director, announced company president Kevin Hunt. Based in Houston, Ford will have global management responsibility for ValvTechnologies’ upstream oil and gas group and activities worldwide as well as long-term vision strategies for development and growth in the upstream severe service market.
With almost 20 years in the oil and gas industry, Ford brings strong leadership skills and experience to the company. For more than 17 years, he served Curtiss-Wright Corporation in several roles including senior vice president, Global Sales and Marketing; general manager, Valve Systems & Controls (Coker Division) and Gulf Coast sales manager, DeltaValve (a division of Curtiss-Wright). Most recently, Ford served as president of American Energy Services, a licensed API 6A and API 6D valve manufacturer providing engineered valve solutions for offshore production and pipeline applications.
