Valve World Americas will be held this summer on July 15th and 16th at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas. From 10:30am to noon on the first morning of the conference, three workshops will be held concurrently. The first two will cover the topics of Performance & Validation as well as Valve Technologies Selection for Cryogenic Applications. The third will be on applying Adapter Tools for EPCs and End-user NPQC Engineers.
The moderators of the workshop will be Henk Hinssen from iHandl Engineering and Andreas Vogt from F.I.R.S.T GmbH. Panelists will be announced in upcoming weeks. The workshop will focus on adapter tools such as the CONVAL Adapter Tool (CAT) that are being considered by EPCs and NPQC (non process quality control) end-users for potential use on major projects. One of the reasons to incorporate these tools into projects is to help improve the control valve sizing and selection process.
