Valve service center launched in Sudbury

Romatec has launched its new Valve & Gauge & Valve Automation Center in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. The service center provides fully trained, experienced service technicians to the markets in Northern Ontario and surrounding areas as well as Eastern Canada. The facility is able to service all makes and types of valves & actuation, including control valves, while adhering to manufacturers’ specifications and repair standards. It is TSSA Certified for repairs, refurbishment and testing of Safety Valves under ASME Section I, Section IV and VIII, CSA B51, NB-18 and API RP-527 and is an ISO certified center. The service center, which opened in October 2011, also offers “Swap & Trade” repair services, shutdown planning and co-ordination, valve automation services and pressure gauge testing & certification.
