ASCO Numatics recently announced the recipients of the 2011 ASCO Numatics Industrial Automation Engineering Scholarships. John R. Frazier of Louisville, Kentucky, and Collin P. Veele of Grand Haven, Michigan, will each receive a $5000 scholarship. Additionally, ASCO Numatics will make $1000 grants to the engineering departments of the University of Louisville and Michigan Technological University, the schools that Frazier and Veele respectively attend. The ASCO Numatics Engineering Scholarships are awarded annually based on the candidates’ potential for leadership and for making a significant contribution to the industrial automation engineering profession, particularly as it relates to the application of fluid control and fluid power technologies. A panel of Emerson, ASCO Numatics, and independent judges selected the finalists.
