Teadit is pleased to announce the newest addition to the Teadit Outside Sales Team, Alton Jamison. Alton will be located in Baton Rouge area and will be joining the company on Monday, August 1st in the role of Sales Engineer. He will have the responsibility of supporting customers and commercial interests in the Southeast Louisiana, Southern Alabama, and Mississippi Region. Alton brings strong technical knowledge and gasket training skills that will make him a top resource for his customers and experience creating, advancing, and closing sales opportunities that make him an outstanding addition to our Outside Sales team.
Alton is a degreed mechanical engineer from Old Dominion University (where he played rugby) with nine years of experience in the gasket distribution business. His most recent role was Director of Fluid Sealing Products at Branham Corporation and before that he was a Sales Engineer with VSP Technologies. He additionally has received his master’s degree in leadership and completed his Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training at Villanova University. He recently presented at ASME PVP a paper titled, “Critical Analysis of Low-Stress Spiral Wound Gaskets” and is actively involved in the Louisiana Chemical Industry Alliance and Chlorine Institute.
Alton and his wife TaShawnda have two kids: Madison and Joshua. Alton is also an ordained pastor, motivational speaker, and nationally ranked chess player. He has four books published on Amazon and hosts his own podcast exploring stories of how people have overcome adversity. He likes to spend his “free time” teaching inner city kids chess (and probably rescuing kittens from trees).
