Velan ABV announced to have shipped the largest cable drive actuators ever made before. As part of a complete package for valve systems, Velan designs and manufactures cable drive actuators suitable for both control and isolation valves, able to improve performance and overcome the limitations associated with traditional systems.

Velan ABV was recently awarded “R&D Strategic projects” for the Carbon Capture and Storage project. Velan ABV, in partnership with innovative startups investing in High-tech sector, took over the role of leader of the project for proving reliable and safe solutions to be applied in future Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) projects in order to drastically reduce CO2 in the atmosphere.

Velan Inc.’s wholly owned subsidiary Velan ABV has been awarded important contracts for the supply of multiple packages of actuated and manual valves to MODEC Offshore Production Systems (Singapore) Pte.
