QIP Equipment Ltd. (QIP) of Montreal has been acquired by Wolseley Industrial Canada. QIP was established in Montreal, Quebec, and has been operational since 1976. It is a wholesale distributor of manual and actuated valves, fittings, control products, and instrumentation products.

FCX acquired PCS

It is being reported that the Columbus, OH-based FCX Performance, Inc., a distributor of valves and controls, has completed the acquisition of Process Control Services, Inc. (PCS). PCS, which is located in Plymouth, Michigan, provides Instrument start-up, repair, installation and calibration services; In-house Depot Repair; Turnkey PLC Programming and Control Panel Fabrication.

Metso & Pentair frontrunners to acquire L&T valves

L&T may be close to selling off its valves business for around $500 million with Finnish firm Metso and US-listed Pentair emerging as frontrunners to acquire the unit, according to sources aware of the negotiations.
