Samson offers Type 3725 valve positioner

Samson Controls has introduced the Type 3725 valve positioner. The compact positioner is rugged and easy to use and has been developed to ensure the precise and reliable control of small or large flows occurring in food processing, pulp and paper and bottling plants.
According to the company, the Type 3725 unit is a logical development of its range of series 373x units, and combines smart features and an LCD with a black UV-resistant polyphthalamide housing and a transparent blue polycarbonate cover.
Data input and start-up is simple thanks to auto-tuning, while position sensing is contactless and performed using an AMR sensor. This allows greater flexibility and enables the device to remain insensitive to vibrations such as those generated by steam hammers.
The Type 3725 is designed to be used with Samson’s diaphragm-operated valves. The positioner can be Namur rib mounted for travels of up to 50mm. It can be fitted to rotary actuators with VDI/VDE 3845 mounting.
