Ridgeline & Kerr to install water treatment plants

 
 
 
 Energy services and water treatment company, Ridgeline Energy Services Inc. has signed an agreement with Fort Worth, Texas-based Kerr Energy, LLC for the installation of six water treatment facilities to be located in western Texas. The seven year agreement with water station operator Kerr Energy will have a right of renewal and within the first five years, projects revenue of USD$24 million dollars. The first facilities will treat produced and hydraulic fracturing flowback water to be re-used by the oil and gas industry and will be installed on Kerr Energy’s Salt Water Disposal (SWD) wells near Monahans, TX. Ridgeline will share sales from water and oil recovery with Kerr.
 
 
Ridgeline operates a flowback treatment facility outside Jal, New Mexico and a water treatment facility in Santa Fe Springs, California. The new Kerr facilities will follow the same business model as the Santa Fe Springs facility, with wastewater from multiple clients being delivered to the facilities for treatment and resale or disposal.
