Positive shutoff for oil & gas applications

The M&J ball valve by SPX incorporates a version of the patented “EN” style seat seal, helping to make the valve a solution for positive shutoff requirements in oil and gas pipelines. A combination elastomer and nylon seal in the same face groove acts as the primary seal in both low and high pressure differential conditions. The valve is offered in 6 in to 42 in sizes, and in ANSI pressure classes 150 to1500 with a standard operating temperature range of -20 F to 250 F. Its design includes internal trunnion blocks and double block-and-bleed capability and the valve is compatible with a variety of control options, including worm gear or lever actuators for manual operation, hydraulic, pneumatic, or electric actuators.
