Valve position monitor makes adjustments redundant

Samson Controls’ Type 3738 electronic valve position monitor is a contactless, magneto-resistive sensor system powered by a two-wire supply.  It works with a NAMUR signal in compliance with IEC 60947-5-6 and can be used on on/off valves across many applications.  This enables valve position monitors to be configured at the push of a button, meaning the valve position monitor can replace existing solenoid valves and limit switches without changing wiring or signal levels. It also includes functions such as self-tuning and diagnostics, which opens up a range of opportunities for control and asset management. The supply air for the actuator is routed through bores at the bottom of the housing, making additional tubing unnecessary. The contactless position sensor makes moving levers and adjustments redundant.
