Micromazza valves used in Flare System

Micromazza recently donated 26 ball valves from 3/4″ to 4″ in pressure classes 150, 300 and 800 for Asvotec Termoindustrial Ltda. in São Paulo, Brazil, which will be used in the assembly of a Flare System.

The flare in an industrial plant is an important piece of equipment for plant safety and the environment. The system usually contains additional elements such as a knock-out drum and a water seal vessel, complete with some auxiliary components such as pilots, ignitors, flame arresters, control instrumentation, and protection including the safety valves and pressure relief network in the industrial units.

The flare is used in industrial plants: on-shore, offshore chemical, petrochemical, steelworks, sewage treatment plants and more. This equipment is part of Asvotec’s Combustion Research and Development Center.
