Houston-based companies consolidate onto new site

Houston-based companies AIV LP, a global wholesale distributor of valves and actuators, and Gulf Coast Modification, a provider of valve modifications, cleaning, coating, inspection and testing services, plan to consolidate three existing facilities into a new project built on 32 acres in northwest Houston.

The facility will be more than 320,000 square feet, but the site allows for future expansion of up to 700,000 square feet, according to a press release. The project is expected to break ground later this year and be complete by late 2018.

The new facility will include two stories of office space for the companies’ sales and administrative personnel, expanded warehouse space for AIV’s valve and actuation inventory and a fabrication facility to accommodate Gulf Coast Modification.
