Jacobs receives Chevron Phillips Chemical contract

Jacobs Engineering Group has been awarded a contract from Chevron Phillips Chemical Company LP (CPChem)to provide front end engineering and design services for two polyethylene facilities. The value of the contract has not been disclosed.

The facilities are part of CPChem’s U.S. Gulf Coast Petrochemicals Project.

 
 
The facilities are to be located on a site in Old Ocean, Texas near the Chevron Phillips Chemical Sweeny facility and are expected to utilize CPChem’s proprietary Loop Slurry Technology.
