Valve Basics seminar to be held March 6-7
Valve Basics Seminar and Exhibits will be held on 6-7 March 2012 at Hilton NASA Clear Lake in Houston, Texas. The seminar will feature its Valves and Actuators 101 course of lessons about valves and the systems that they help control from the simple valve types to complex automated products including actuators and controls.
Enterprise purchases land for ECHO expansion
Enterprise Products Partners L.P. has purchased a 36 acre piece of land adjacent to its Enterprise Crude Houston (ECHO) crude oil terminal, that is currently under construction in southeast Harris County.

Petrobas, Brazil’s state-run oil company has signed a letter of intent to conduct studies over the next six months to determine the possibility of building fertilizer and liquefied natural gas regasification plants in Rio Grande do Sul state.
Expro opens office in Newfoundland
Expro has opened a new operations base in the Octagon Industrial Park in Paradise, Newfoundland. The base is four-bay workshop with 8,400sq ft of warehouse area, an office annex with 6,000ft and a two acre lot and will accommodate a team of 30 people.
