New compact solenoid valves for rail sector

Norgren has launched a new compact valve range for the rail sector. The VRW 2/2, 3/2 way 32mm solenoid poppet valve is suitable for both direct integration onto a manifold or for use with a CNOMO Interface and G1/8 port.  The direct actuated valves have fully encapsulated coils, and are available in a wide range of power and orifice sizes.

ExxonMobil reaches milestones

ExxonMobil’s Point Thomson project successfully completed a number of infrastructure milestones during the summer as part of an ongoing commitment to Alaska’s energy future. “ExxonMobil is strongly committed to hiring Alaskans and, with its contractors, employed more than 1,100 Alaskans during the 2013 winter work season,” said senior project manager at Point Thomson, Gina Dickerson.

Flowrox launches new PVG pinch valve

Technip wins FEED for LNG liquefaction project

Trunkline LNG Export, LLC has awarded Technip a front-end engineering and design (FEED) contract for the potential expansion of the existing liquefied natural gas (LNG) import terminal located in Lake Charles, Louisiana. The potential expansion project includes a LNG liquefaction plant, with a total export capacity of up to approximately 15 million tonnes per annum, so that a portion of the vast additional supplies of natural gas produced from shale gas fields across the U.S.
