Weir announces new Canadian facility

Weir Minerals Canada has opened a new 19,000 square-foot service and distribution operation in Fort McMurray to support customers in the Athabasca Oil Sands in Canada. Weir Minerals Canada is pleased to announce that the Weir Minerals Canada Fort McMurray service and distribution operation has been relocated to a new facility in the MacKenzie Industrial Park.

Franklin announces Technology License Agreement wi

Franklin Valve LP of Houston, TX and Microfinish Valves Limited of Karnataka, India have entered into a Technology License Agreement whereby Microfinish Valves will manfacture and sell the Franklin Duraseal Double Block & Bleed Plug valve in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lank and Myanmar, under the Microfinish brand.

Subsea 7 S.A. awarded contract offshore Brazil

Subsea 7 S.A. has been awarded a contract with a value of approximately US$400 million from Petrobras. The contract is for the operation of the Pipe Lay Support Vessel (PLSV) Normand Seven on a day rate basis for around five years, with operations starting in the fourth quarter of this year. The vessel has operated for Petrobras for several years and is currently under contract with this client.
