ValvTechnologies boosts in-house welding capacities

ValvTechnologies, manufacturer of zero-leakage severe service isolation valve solutions, has expanded the company’s existing in-house welding capabilities by adding six new state-of-the-art machines dedicated to the welding process including an Arc-5 cladding machine and five Fronius cladders.

Kinder Morgan expanding KMCC system in Texas

Kinder Morgan Energy Partners will invest approximately $54 million to build an interconnect and other facilities for its Kinder Morgan Crude and Condensate (KMCC) pipeline after entering into a long-term transportation agreement with Republic Midstream Marketing, LLC. Republic will build a gathering pipeline from Lavaca County, Texas to the new Interconnection at KMP’s DeWitt Station, near Cuero, Texas.

Aerodyne launches new dust collection valve

Aerodyne Environmental, the industrial dust collection and material handling solutions company, launched the 10" Vacu-Valve® Trickle Valve System, a low-cost low-maintenance dust collector valve. The Vacu-Valve is a trickle valve that operates as a constant discharge valve for dust collectors, hoppers, cyclones and other equipment operating under negative pressure.

Biofuels Power Corp. building GTL plant in Houston

Biofuels Power Corporation has signed a letter of intent with ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions and Liberty GTL to construct a small-scale gas-to-liquid (GTL) demonstration facility in Houston, Texas. All parties have pinpointed a non-binding target date to finish commissioning of the GTL Pilot Plant on or before December 31, 2014.
