CIRCOR Aerospace Inc., manufacturers of fluidic control, actuation and electro-mechanical products for aerospace and defense applications - including control valves and regulators - has committed to growing its Maintenance, Overhaul and Repair (MRO) business.

Pipetech innovative tech. for pressurized systems

Pipetech has introduced a new and innovative Tool for Pressurized Systems (TPS), which incorporates a pressure retaining device and emergency valve for additional performance. The function of the TPS, which works in conjunction with Pipetech’s Aqua Milling system, is to remove all scale and contaminates from a range of pipework, in a pressurised environment.

FERC oversight hearing focuses on Clean Power Plan

The US House of Representatives Subcommittee on Energy and Power held a hearing earlier this month to conduct oversight of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). The hearing focused on FERC’s role in ensuring reliability in light of the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Clean Power Plan (CPP), as well as FERC’s efforts to permit new natural gas pipelines and LNG export facilities.

Saint-Gobain Seals, with operations in North and South America, has installed a new automation machine at their Willich, Germany site, which forms and assembles OmniSeal® spring-energized seals. The automation machine manufactures spring-energized seal designs ranging from radial seals (rod seals and piston seals) to Spring II seals that are composed of Saint-Gobain Seals’ proprietary Fluoroloy® materials.
