A distributor of valves, pumps and process equipment based in Ohio has chosen TAB Bank for a USD $2.25 million revolving credit facility. The facility is an asset-based line of credit and also contains an inventory component.

NRC “infrequent” classification for steam leak

Radioactive steam leaking from a valve prompted operators to shut down Peach Bottom, Pennsylvania, Atomic Power Station's Unit 2 reactor early Monday morning, according to a company spokesperson. Though the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) classifies steam leaks of this kind as "infrequent," a certain amount of leakage is inevitable, said NRC spokesman Neil Sheehan.

Clark ball valves offer low operating torque

Hudson, Massachusetts-based Clark Solutions (Clark) has introduced their 8E Electric and 8P Pneumatic Series Direct Mount Ball Valves. Featuring the lowest possible operating torque compared to other ball valves used in industry, according to Clark, 8P Series Ball Valves require only a minimum of 80 PSI air supply.

Dow Chemical and DuPont merger talks

American multinational chemical corporation, Dow Chemical Co. is in late-stage talks to merge with DuPont Co., which provided solutions in the chemical industry, including valve solutions. This would mark one of the largest deals in the chemical industry to date.
