W&O acquires EMI

W&O of Jacksonville, Florida, a supplier to the marine and upstream oil and gas markets of pipe, valves and fittings, valve automation and engineered solutions, has acquired Engine Monitor Inc. (EMI).

Hillenbrand buys Red Valve for USD $132 M

Pending final approval this month, Hillenbrand Inc. recently agreed to the acquisition of Carnegie, Pennsylvania-based Red Valve Co. Inc., for USD $131.9 million. Red Valve makes highly-engineered valves designed to operate in the harshest municipal and industrial wastewater environments.

Danfoss appoints Head of Sales & Business Dvpmt.

Danfoss, a manufacturer of high pressure valves and pumps, has appointed Miha Kavcic as Head of Sales and Business Development in North America. In this role, Kavcic will be responsible for advancing the company’s business within the heating market, including energy-saving hydronic balancing and control, electric heating, and combined heat and power solutions.
