PPE valve seals pass TOTAL GS for oil & gas

Precision Polymer Engineering (PPE), a manufacturers of molded elastomer valve seals with American operations in San Jose, California, and Houston, Texas, recently announced that its EnDura® A90H and Perlast® G92E elastomers are the latest materials to pass approval to meet a major industry specification, TOTAL General Specification (GS) PVV 142.

Military cargo ship gets makeover in Philly

Longer than two football fields, the 50,000-ton Pfc. Eugene A. Obregon is the latest military ship to arrive at Dry Dock No. 3 at the Philadelphia Navy Yard, for routine inspection and repairs. Obregon is part of the US military fleet that transports tanks, trucks, Humvees, helicopters and ammunition to troops around the world.
