Nashville to invest in pressure-reducing valves

For the first time since 2011, Nashville’s Water and Sewer Departments, Nashville Utilities, was able to end the year without having to borrow from other town funds. According to Town Manager, Scott Rudd, the Department was even able to maintain two months’ worth of cash reserved – approximately USD $150,000 for each month.

PENNVEST investing $12M for Indiana water projects

Two Indiana County water projects have received approval for state funding totaling USD $12 million, according to state Sen., Don White and state Rep., Dave Reed. The Indiana County Municipal Services Authority (ICMSA) will use USD $8.

New steam control valve for Dover power plant

Delaware, Dover City Council members agreed recently to spend more than USD $600,000 on payments toward the city's Municipal Light Plant for various acquisitions and maintenance. Included in this sum, Council approved $105,000 to be used toward replacing a boiler steam control valve that is said to be cracked and will be replaced during the plant’s annual spring shutdown.
