Chemline elastomer seated butterfly valves have been improved. The new Type 57 replaces Type 56 up to 14 in and the Type 57 body, disc and seat have been redesigned to offer better flow characteristics and lower torques.

Zwick Armaturen GmBH is pleased to announce the formation of Zwick Valves N. A. LLC.  The company has purchased a 35,000 square foot facility located in Deer Park, Texas, complete with a 10 ton overhead crane, and two 1 ton jib cranes to aid in mounting gear operators and actuators. With an inventory of $6 million in Zwick valves in sizes from 2" to 30", ranging from 150 to 500 pounds, the new facility has the quantity of stainless, NACE trim and butt-weld valves needed to reliably deliver product throughout the Americas.  

Until recently, the handling of procurement for project and plant implementation was limited due to the lack of full line distribution companies in Brazil.

Valtek Sulamericana designed special versions of its GLH Globe line of control valves for Brazil’s state-owned oil company Petrobras.

Exlar’s linear actuators meet ATEX requirements for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. The line has been expanded to include the EL100 explosion-proof linear actuators, rated for Class I, Div 1, Groups B, C, D and T3 hazardous environments.

Chemline series metering ball valves can become proportional control valves with the addition of an E series electric actuator.  It also has an on-board positioner, thermoplastic housing and a mounting bracket. 

Rotork is supplying GO range gas-over-oil pipeline valve actuators for a Class 300 sour gas gathering system and pipeline owned by the Murphy Oil Company in NE British Colombia, Canada.

Tolomatic has expanded its “Your Motor Here” (YMH) program to include more than 80 actuator products in nine different series. The YMH program allows designers to match more than 900 models of servo and stepper motors from almost 50 brands.

GF Piping Systems has expanded its Type 567 butterfly valve line in larger diameter sizes.  The distinctive double eccentric off-center designed wafer style butterfly valves are now available in 14” to 24” sizes.
