It has been announced that RBC Bearings Incorporated, an international manufacturer of highly-engineered precision bearings and components for the industrial, defense and aerospace industries, has closed on the acquisition of the Sargent Aerospace & Defense business (Sargent) of Dover Corporation.

Emerson Electric Co. recently made some modifications to its FlowScanner 6000 valve diagnostic tool using Kalsi Engineering’s Kalsi Valve & Actuator Program (KVAP) software. Emerson’s FlowScanner 6000 is a diagnostic tool used to evaluate the performance of models and makes of air functioning control valves.

Belimo, the Switzerland-based company that produces control valves and actuators, has unveiled its new expanded 200,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Danbury, Connecticut. The new plant more than doubles the company’s production space from its existing facility in Danbury.

Metso, the industrial mining/aggregates and flow control, is planning to open a new valve and field device service centre in Querétaro, Mexico. This new service centre will carry out maintenance and repair work on Metso and third-party devices, such as valves, actuators and pumps for customers mainly in the oil and gas, pulp and paper and mining industries.
