HANTEMP expands refrigeration ball valve line

Westmont, Illinois-based HANTEMP Controls, a manufacturer of stainless steel valves for refrigeration applications in a wide range of industries, has expanded its line of ball valves. The expanded COBRA-NECK® line, designed to withstand the often corrosive and harsh environments of refrigeration systems, is now available in a wider selection of sizes. Featuring all stainless steel construction ensuring high corrosion resistance, the COBRA-NECK ball valves are available in 3/4” to 4” connections to meet a greater number of system-specific requirements.

The COBRA-NECK ball valve is also advantageous due to its versatility. When equipped with an actuator for motorized control, the new valves can be used to control pressure, temperature, flow and refrigerant liquid level. The valves have been approved for a safe operating fluid temperature of -70°F to +240°F and a safe working pressure (SWP) of 800 psig (55 bar).
