Flowserve Corporation has announced that they have released a Flowserve NAF® Duball DL ball valve with spring-loaded packing technology. Flowserve Corporation is a leading provider of flow control products and services for the global infrastructure markets.
A patented Z-trim option improves control behavior, providing high rangeability and anti-cavitation functionality and noise attenuation.
“The NAF Duball has been a popular choice in some of the most demanding applications worldwide, due to its safe and effective operation and its ability to help minimize plant downtime,” said vice president and general manager, Flow Control Division, General Industries Sector, Keith Barnard. “The introduction of the DL version continues this legacy and extends the range further into the refining, petrochemical and chemical industries.”
The design incorporates new spring-loaded stem packing technology on ANSI class 150 and 300 versions covering applications up to 250 C/482 F. The NAF Duball product family has a split body with floating ball design to provide leak tightness. The valve’s ball and seat are designed to be easily serviced without removing the valve stem and actuator.
The NAF Duball DL ball valve can be used in automated on/off applications and is suitable for a wide range of control applications.
