Valve features new flow geometry

GF Piping’s Type 514-519 High Flow Diaphragm Valve Series is a uniquely designed valve that provides a true break-through for weir style valves. The valve’s new flow geometry  provides linear flow and control characteristics that improve process stability, resulting in reduced operating costs and more cost-effective media transport.  It also provides Cv values double the traditional design and eliminates the traditional metal bolts required to hold the valve together. The metal-free threaded bonnet connection minimizes corrosion in applications with highly aggressive media. The new valves can be automated with GF Piping Systems’ pneumatic actuators DIASTAR 10 (150 PSI) and DIASTAR 16 (240 PSI). Modular design allows easy field installation of the actuator to a manual valve as well as position feedback switches and other accessories.
