Teadit’s Jose Carlos Veiga Receives Title of ASME Fellow

ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers) has bestowed the coveted honor and title of Fellow Jose Carlos Veiga, the former Teadit Global Technical Director and Technical Team member for over 40 years.

After over four decades in the industry, resulting in countless new innovations and designs – including 22 patents – Veiga is one of the most respected and knowledgeable personalities in the flow control industry. He has shared his unparalleled expertise as a global leader in critical fluid sealing processes and his inventions and technical contributions throughout his career have yielded numerous advancements in the industry. He has written the book on gasketing, providing the most in-depth and comprehensive information available on gaskets used in industrial applications for sealing flanged joints of piping and equipment.

Now retired, Veiga has stayed on as Teadit’s Global Technical Consultant and is able to add ASME Fellow to that title. This recognition by such an esteemed organization, and his peers, speaks to the level of expertise and knowledge that Veiga has brought to the industry and the Teadit Group over the course of his long career.
