Xylem names new Senior Vice President

The global water technology company, Xylem, has announced that today Steven Leung will join the company as Senior Vice President and President, Emerging Markets. His position will become effective April 1, 2015.
This is a newly created position and Mr. Leung will lead the company’s commercial operations across the emerging markets, including China, Greater Asia, India, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America, as well as Australia and New Zealand. He will report directly to Xylem President and Chief Executive Officer Patrick Decker.
Mr. Leung, 58, joins Xylem from Pentair, where he most recently served as Vice President, Global Sales for Pentair’s Valves and Controls business. In that role, he led the integration of four global vertical sales teams into a single global function, and his role was expanded to include leadership of the global commercial services function. Prior to that, he held senior executive roles at Tyco International, including Vice President and General Manager of Global Process Industry Vertical and President of its Flow Control business in Asia. Leung also held executive roles at Agilent Technologies and General Electric.
