Wolseley Canada donates to Special Olympics

Wolseley Canada specializes in the wholesale distribution of plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, waterworks, fire protection, pipes, valves and fittings and industrial products. It is one of Canada’s largest companies with sales of approximately $1.38 billion. Headquartered in Burlington, Ontario, the company has approximately 2,600 employees and 220 locations coast-to-coast.
Wolseley is committed to being a good corporate citizen, while building and sustaining valuable community partnerships. Since 2004 Wolseley has been a national sponsor of Special Olympics Canada, and has donated more than $2.5 million through corporate sponsorship and employee fundraising. Recently, athletes and coaches visited the Wolseley Canada office to promote the national “Building Champions”, which raises funds to assist with costs for athletes to attend the 2015 Special Olympics World Summer Games in Los Angeles, California from July 25 to August 2, 2015.
In addition, Wolseley is also an active supporter of Habitat for Humanity. Wolseley Canada’s parent company, Wolseley plc is the world’s largest trade distributor of plumbing and heating products and a leading supplier of building materials.
