Weir Group introduces Simplified Frac Iron System

Weir Oil & Gas, whose principal operations are in North America, Europe and the Middle East, has recently announced the Simplified Frac Iron System, which aims to reduce the amount of iron as well as number of connections on site in order to make the frac process simpler, safer and more productive.

According to the company, multiple well pads and a complex array of moving parts requires a lengthy time to set up, assemble and connect, creating substantial non-productive time on site. The Simplified Frac Iron System was designed to make this process more streamlined, efficient and customizable to any condition or basin. The linear-flow-path design may also prevent accelerated wear created by directional fluid changes.
