VMA Valve Basics Seminar coming to Chicago

The Valve Basics Seminar & Exhibition is a one-and-a-half-day program that has already drawn more than 400 people who need or want to learn about industrial valves, actuators and controls. Although the Valves & Actuators 101 course was originally created for newcomers to the industry, it also has been popular for those who need a refresher course or wish to expand their knowledge about the products used to control flow in a variety of industries. In addition to mechanical engineering students (whose attendance is sponsored by VMA’s educational foundation) and engineers in the early phase of their careers, the seminar brings together employees and supervisors of plants that use valves, actuators and controls; professionals who are entering a new area of the industry; personnel who specify and purchase valves and related equipment; distributors and sales reps who want to better understand the products they sell; and personnel from valve manufacturing companies.
The event is being held in the Chicago suburb of Rosement October 26 and 27. Contact Judy Tibbs (jtibbs@vma.org), VMA Director of Education, if you have additional questions.
