VMA holds successful Valve and Actuator course

A member of the Valve World Americas staff joined valve and technical engineers, end users and valve professionals for the fifth Valve Basics Seminar & Exhibition in Chicago on October 26 and 27. The event offered lessons on many valve and actuator types, and featured a fun and interactive “Valve Petting Zoo”.
In addition to the classes, there was a tabletop exhibition where those just learning about valves were able to interact with seasoned industry professionals. Several young engineering students from the Chicago area were also present thanks to the scholarships offered by the Valve Manufacturers’ Association.
The next Valve Basics Seminar will be held in March, 2012.
