ValvTechnologies, Inc. recently named Joseph “Joe” Miller as industry director for the company’s fossil power division.
For the last 15 years, Miller has been president of The Energy Corporation. Previously, he served as vice-president of engineering for Calpine Corporation. With more than 35 years’ experience in the power industry, Miller has worked on geothermal, solar, hydroelectric, wood-fired, gas-fired, and coal-fired power plants, helping bring onto the grid over 30,000 megawatts of power generation worldwide.
Based in Denver, Miller will have global leadership responsibility for ValvTechnologies’ power industry group, with a focus on business growth and customer performance in the severe service marketplace.
