ValvTechnologies appoints new director

Kevin Hunt, president of ValvTechnologies, the manufacturer of zero-leakage severe service isolation valve solutions, announced the appointment of Elvis Gonzalez as the director of Manufacturing Operations.
Based in Houston, Gonzalez will have management responsibility for ValvTechnologies’ Manufacturing Operations groups, leading the achievement of production, productivity, quality and safety goals, as well as spearheading manufacturing process continuous improvements. His appointment serves to integrate the value stream between the sales order and manufacturing.
With more than 20 years served in the valve and pressure control industries, Gonzalez brings significant global leadership and operations experience to ValvTechnologies. Prior to joining ValvTechnologies, Gonzalez served as operations manager for Cameron International Corporation in Houston. He previously held similar leadership roles with Cameron as production manager, sales manager, supply chain manager and aftermarket operations manager in both the US and Venezuela.
“We are excited to welcome Elvis to the ValvTechnologies team,” said Hunt. “He brings deep domain expertise in all aspects of manufacturing, operations and continuous improvement. He is deeply committed to customer experience, employee engagement and workplace safety. His strong leadership skills are an excellent addition to our global senior leadership team.”
