Valve World Americas’ Industry Courses Return for 2025 Expo & Conference Industry Courses

The Valve World Americas’ Industrial Training Courses will take place June 3, 2025, at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas.

Both the Basic Course and Master Class are scheduled one day prior to the Valve World Americas Expo and Conference to be held June 4-5, and the curriculums will be instructed by experienced industry professionals. Covering a range of topics, both courses will provide the opportunity for attendees to expand their expertise and stay current with industry best practices.

The Basic Course will be instructed by industry experts Glen Beal, Engineering Manager at MRC Global, and Steve Thomas, Vice President, Valve Products and Business Development, Southwest Region, Bonney Forge.

The course is designed for engineers, technicians, and industry professionals and will comprise fundamental principles and applications of industrial valves. Attendees will also gain a foundation in theory and hands-on understanding of the most commonly used valves in the oil & gas industry.

Leading the Master Class is experienced valve industry professional Gobind Khiani, Consultant/Valve SME. This is an advanced course offering a comprehensive overview of the ancillary processes essential to the valve lifecycle.

Topics include supplier qualification, design validation, and prototype testing. The Master Class will equip attendees with the skills and insights to confidently navigate the complexities of valve systems.
