Valve World Americas 2011 – A real success

The Valve World Conference and Expo Americas 2011 which took place two weeks ago was a real success for both conference attendees and exhibitors.

During the inaugural event all the presentations, speaker’s corner and workshops were packed with delegates eager to learn more about topics such as predicting valve performance during sizing and selection, standards and organizations and unconventional energy sources.

The expo floor which featured almost 100 top companies was similarly a hive of activity, and in total well over 1500 people attended the event on the first day alone! To find out more about what went on, please check out the links below:

Workshops… join the on-going discussions
During the show, there was a lot of debate during the workshops on partial stroking and counterfeit valves. In fact, the workshop moderators firmly believe that the community would benefit from further discussions and have therefore set up dedicated blogs. Valve World Americas 2013
Already hailed as a resounding success, the Valve World Americas show is set to expand further in 2013. In fact, the organizers have already announced that the show will be hosted at a bigger venue, the George R. Brown Convention center in downtown Houston. So mark your diaries now, for June 25 and 26th, 2013.
