Valve motors for light & medium applications

Eaton, the power management company, has launched its Xcel series of low-speed, high-torque spool and disc valve motors. They are specially designed for reliable performance for light- and medium-duty applications.

These new motors are part of the Company’s two-tier portfolio approach, which is structured to assist customers in finding the right valve motor for their needs. The Xcel series solutions are engineered with reliability in mind and backed by a two-year warranty to give customers confidence in their motor selection. The standard tier systems require operation time of up to 4,000 hours of life, which meets the needs of the medium-duty market in terms of pressure, torque, and side load capability.

The new Xcel series motors feature a three-zone design allowing true bi-directional operation and a case drain option that improves resistance to pressure spikes, and extends seal and motor life.
